Thank you, Youtube.

In 2008, I had attended my first year of EFY.

My fondest memory of that year was my session director, brother Knowlton, singing his own version of the song 'Stop and Stare' which he changed the title to 'Stop for Prayer'.

Sadly, I myself had not documented and recorded this event. I had been devastated that I had not thought to record this.

Two years later, to my great discovery, I realized that maybe, out of the thousands of people in that session, someone had to have had the idea to record it. As soon as that idea had popped into my head (note: two years later ) I went to youtube and found that someone who was smart had thought to record it.

So thank you, youtube, for your greatness.

I found what I had been longing to find for two years.

My life is now complete.

( here are the lyrics to this wonderful song. )

Got home from efy
My parents sit me down
Ask me what reason why
I have this glow all around
Done the dishes eight times now
(not sure of this line)
Please wont you tell us what you learned
At efy

Stop for prayer
Escort the ladies when we go somewhere
Study scriptures so we'll be prepared
So i'll become what i can be
Ohhhhhh
Stop for prayer
Feel the love from all my counselors there
Don't dance too close or else you'll get the glare
Sure and steady conquer satans snare
Oh efy strengthens me

My parents can't believe
The change they see in me
They've got a different child
That's so nice to have around
Mom and dad don't worry now
I've got my BHAG written down
Not going to pull my focus out
And i'm standin sure
Oh yeah

Stop for prayer
Escort the ladies when we go somehwere
Study scriptures so we'll be prepared
So ill become what i can be
Ohhhhhhh
Stop for prayer
I've learned a lot from all my counselors there
And meet your company by the jamba stairs
Oh ill become what i can
Oh mom and dad can't you see
Efy is for me
